Express Scripts Sued Over Patient ID Cards

Law360, New York (June 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Illinois-based patent-holding company has filed a patent infringement suit against pharmaceutical benefits giant Express Scripts Inc. over business forms used to create patient identification cards.

Malessa Partners LLC filed the suit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, accusing Express Scripts of violating its patents for printable forms with integrated labels and cards.
