Dewey & LeBoeuf Advises Dell In Force10 Acquisition

Law360, New York (July 20, 2011, 5:32 PM EDT) -- Dell Inc. plans to buy data storage network provider Force10 Networks in an effort to simplify technology management and reduce the cost of maintaining data centers, the company said Wednesday.

Texas-based Dell agreed to purchase Force10 for $700 million, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday. David Frink, a spokesman for Dell, declined to provide the terms of the acquisition, citing the company's policy when working with a privately held company, but he said California-based Force10 had about $200 million in revenue in the last four quarters....
