Arbitration Antitrust MDL Plaintiffs Want Deal Approved

Law360, New York (July 25, 2011, 5:24 PM EDT) -- Plaintiffs in an antitrust multidistrict litigation alleging the National Arbitration Forum worked with creditors and debt collection law firms against the interests of consumers on Thursday urged a Minnesota federal judge to grant final approval to a $3.2 million settlement.

The plaintiffs' suit against the NAF, debt collection law firm Mann Bracken LLP and private equity firms Accretive LLC and Agora — which have an ownership interest in both NAF and Mann Bracken's parent company — was consolidated as an MDL in February 2010.
