Astellas Stress Test Antitrust Suit Survives

Law360, New York (July 26, 2011, 1:56 PM EDT) -- A Florida federal judge on Monday refused to dismiss Lakeland Regional Medical Center Inc.'s antitrust class action against affiliates of Astellas Pharma Inc. over patented cardiac stress test procedures, saying Lakeland's complaint cleared several hurdles including U.S. Supreme Court precedent.
