Judge Says Impax, Apotex Infringed Prilosec Patents

Law360 (June 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Almost a year after the trial concluded in the long-standing dispute over AstraZeneca AB’s patents for its gastric acid-inhibiting drug Prilosec, a federal judge ruled Thursday that the patents were valid and that Apotex Corp. and Impax Laboratories Inc. had both infringed with their generic versions of the drug.
