Coverage Remains At Issue In Factory Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (July 26, 2011, 8:26 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal judge ruled Tuesday that her decision to deny Federal Insurance Co. summary judgment in its suit over cleanup costs at a former razor factory does not affect whether it can seek coverage under another insurer's policy.

The complaint is centered on the cleanup of a Maplewood, N.J., factory whose owners used volatile chemicals in blade manufacturing and caused environmental damage, according to court documents.
