New Dallas Litigation Firm Eschews Hourly Billing

Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 5:14 PM EDT) -- Trial attorneys Paul Skiermont and Donald Puckett announced Wednesday they had formed a new Dallas-based commercial litigation firm focusing on patent and antitrust cases that would use alternative fee arrangements instead of hourly billing.

The firm, Skiermont Puckett LLP, plans to bill clients using flat monthly fees, fixed project-based fees, success bonuses, contingent fees and other alternative fee arrangements.
