Ex-Ally Worker Was Atty Stealing Trade Secrets: Suit

Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 3:24 PM EDT) -- Home and car loan giant Ally Financial Inc. sued a former employee Tuesday in Pennsylvania federal court claiming she unlawfully took trade secrets and information about customers to boost her secret practice as a foreclosure defense attorney.

Ally's suit before U.S. District Judge Harvey Bartle III seeks damages against Tanya L. Blackwell, who was fired in June, and an order requiring her to return confidential information. Detroit-based Ally also filed a motion for a temporary restraining order against Blackwell.
