Interstate Bakeries Wins Extension To File Plan

Law360 (June 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt baked goods company Interstate Bakeries Corp. will have four more months to file a reorganization plan, after a bankruptcy court judge approved the Twinkie maker's motion to extend the deadline.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri granted Interstate's request on Thursday, giving the company until Oct. 5 to submit a plan for emerging from Chapter 11 protection.
