EQT Lied To Potential Gas Royalty Class Members: Judge

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 3:49 PM EDT) -- In a putative class action over coalbed methane royalties, a Virginia federal judge on Friday ordered gas drilling company EQT Production Co. to stop lying to potential class members when trying to persuade them to sign contracts that would preclude them from the class.
