Steel Co. Fights To Keep Duties On Japan, Brazil Imports

Law360, New York (August 1, 2011, 6:58 PM EDT) -- Steel producer ArcelorMittal USA LLC filed a complaint in the U.S. Court of International Trade on Monday challenging the U.S. government's decision to revoke certain duty orders on hot-rolled steel products from Brazil and Japan.

The U.S. International Trade Commission ruled in June that revoking anti-dumping duty orders, as well as a countervailing duty order on hot-rolled steel products from Brazil, would not likely translate to material injury U.S. steel companies in the foreseeable future, according to ArcelorMittal.
