Starr Can Pursue Records From Chinese Ad Co. For Now

Law360, New York (August 4, 2011, 8:00 PM EDT) -- A Delaware state judge on Wednesday tentatively refused to dismiss a suit brought by a unit of Starr International Company Inc., allowing the company to continue pursuing financial statements from a Chinese advertisement company that allegedly lied to investors about the state of its health.

Though Vice Chancellor Donald F. Parsons Jr. scheduled the trial for the week of Nov. 17, he also agreed to take China MediaExpress Holdings Inc.’s motion to dismiss the case under advisement.
