Mondis Wants $9.3M Added To Innolux Patent Award

Law360, New York (August 4, 2011, 6:15 PM EDT) -- Mondis Technolgy Ltd. asked a Texas federal judge on Thursday to tack an extra $9.3 million onto the $15 million awarded by a jury that found two Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. subsidiaries infringed five Mondis computer monitor patents.

The $9.3 million figure includes $5 million for infringing computer monitors and television sets Chimei Innolux Corp. and Innolux Corp. sold to Hewlett-Packard Corp. and $4.3 million in royalties for infringing Innolux products sold between Jan. 1 and the June 27 verdict, bringing the total award to...
