CDR Execs Blast Excessive Discovery In Bid-Rigging Suit

Law360, New York (August 5, 2011, 4:02 PM EDT) -- California brokerage executives charged with bid-rigging and market manipulation ripped prosecutors Thursday in New York for burying them in millions of pages of discovery documents, forcing them to search for the proverbial needle in the haystack that could exonerate them.

The executives of Rubin/Chambers Dunhill Insurance Services Inc. — President David Rubin, Chief Financial Officer Zevi Wolmark and Vice President Evan Zarefsky — wrote a letter to U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero arguing that prosecutors are violating discovery procedures.
