Boeing, Siemens Team To Modernize Military Power Use

Law360, New York (August 8, 2011, 2:48 PM EDT) -- Boeing Co. and Siemens Corp. announced Monday they had entered into an agreement to provide efficient and secure energy to the U.S. Department of Defense, which spent $4 billion on energy costs during fiscal year 2010.

The companies said their work would allow the military to reduce costs for energy domestically and at U.S. bases around the world, though they did not say how long the alliance was set to last or how much the work would be worth.
