DOC Finds Dumping, Unfair Subsidies For Italian Pasta

Law360, New York (August 8, 2011, 7:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce preliminarily ruled Monday that several Italian pasta companies have been dumping products in the U.S. and receiving unfair subsidies over the last year.

The DOC's International Trade Administration issued the initial results of administrative duty reviews in two separate cases: one covering an anti-dumping order on Italian pasta from July 2009 through June 2010 and the other covering a countervailing duty order for pasta imported in 2009.
