Celanese Unit Must Face Fiber Price-Fixing Suit

Law360, New York (August 8, 2011, 11:42 PM EDT) -- A North Carolina federal judge on Monday denied a motion by a subsidiary of chemical manufacturer Celanese Corp. to dismiss an antitrust suit claiming it conspired with other manufacturers of polyester staple fiber to fix prices and allocate customers.
