Evidence Bid Went Too Far, Ex-Primary Global VP Says

Law360, New York (August 12, 2011, 3:26 PM EDT) -- A former Primary Global Research LLC executive asked a New York federal judge Thursday to impound more than 16,000 pages of evidence, saying prosecutors may have violated the rules of trial procedure by seizing so much information in an effort to build their insider trading case against him.

James Fleishman asked the court to allow him to review the materials supplied to the federal government by various third parties to determine if prosecutors' pretrial subpoenas complied with the rules of trial procedure.
