Commerce Stands Behind Brazilian Orange Juice Duties

Law360, New York (August 12, 2011, 6:19 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Friday it would keep anti-dumping duties in place on orange juice imported from Brazil, the world's largest exporter of frozen orange juice.

Brazilian exporters Fischer SA Comercio Industria and Agricultura and Sucocitrico Cutrale SA would face margin rates of 3.97 percent and 0.42 percent, respectively, while Coinbra-Frutesp SA and Montecitrus Trading SA would not be subject to duties because they did not ship the juice during the period under review, Commerce said in a Federal Register notice.
