Citigroup Says Former VP Stole Confidential Data

Law360, New York (August 12, 2011, 8:44 PM EDT) -- Citigroup Global Markets Inc. urged a New York court on Friday to force a former senior vice president to return confidential financial and strategic information they claim she took just before resigning last month, violating her contract with the company.

In its application for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction, Citi claims Elizabeth J. Kurian forwarded the information to her personal email prior to her July 27 resignation.
