McGowan Can’t Shake Pollution Indemnity Ruling

Law360, Washington (August 15, 2011, 2:17 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal court on Friday denied McGowan Working Partners Inc.'s bid to reconsider a ruling that the company was contractually obligated to indemnify Eland Energy Inc. against cross-claims brought in property owners' litigation over environmental contamination at a Louisiana oil field.
