NTSB Gas Blast Report Finds Flaws In PG&E Policy

Law360, New York (August 15, 2011, 8:33 PM EDT) -- The National Transportation Safety Board on Monday released documents in its investigation of a deadly explosion at a Pacific Gas and Electric Co. natural gas pipeline in San Bruno, Calif., that highlight shortcomings in the utility's emergency procedures.

The NTSB's final report, which will include an analysis of the September explosion that killed eight people and destroyed nearly 40 homes in San Bruno, will be released Aug. 30.
