FCC Eyes Calif. Transit Agency’s Cellphone Block

Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 1:59 PM EDT) -- The Federal Communications Commission confirmed Tuesday it was examining a decision by San Francisco’s Bay Area Rapid Transit to block cellphone service in subway stations to disrupt rumored demonstrations, as BART reeled from a data breach made in protest of the shutdown.
