Judge Picks Cases For Trial In Welding Litigation

Law360 (June 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge has ruled against a motion by the defendants in the multidistrict welding fume litigation and chosen the next two bellwether cases in the litigation.

In a decision Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Northern Ohio, Judge Kathleen McDonald O'Malley chose the next two bellwether cases, and said one should begin in November and the other in January. Another case, which hasn't been chosen yet, will begin in July 2008.
