Bostic: Swinging For The Fences

Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 1:16 PM EDT) -- Some thoughts here on the Dallas Court of Appeals August 2010 ruling in Georgia-Pacific Corp. v. Bostic:

Timothy Bostic’s wife, son, father and mother brought wrongful death claims and a survival action against Georgia-Pacific and numerous other entities in 2003, alleging that Timothy’s death was caused by exposure to asbestos. At the time of trial, Georgia-Pacific was the sole remaining defendant. The others had settled or been dismissed.
