Santorum's Campaign Site Features Bootleg Font: Suit

Law360, New York (August 16, 2011, 10:06 PM EDT) -- Dutch type foundry Typotheque VOF on Tuesday hit Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum's media consultant, RaiseDigital LLC, with a copyright infringement and unfair competition suit for its alleged unlicensed use and distribution of software for a Typotheque font.

In a complaint filed in New York federal court, Typotheque claims it is entitled to at least $2 million in damages resulting from RaiseDigital's alteration of the software for the copyrighted Fedra Serif font for use on Santorum's 2012 presidential campaign website.
