Brocade Loses TRO Bid In Software Trade Secrets Suit

Law360, New York (August 17, 2011, 6:37 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday denied Brocade Communications Systems Inc.'s motion for a temporary restraining order in a suit brought against several former employees and tech company A10 Networks Inc. for allegedly poaching trade secrets and workers.

Brocade and its affiliated networking hardware vendor Foundry Networks LLC sued A10 and former employees Lee Chen, David Cheung, Liang Han, Steve Hwang, Rajkumar Jalan and Ron Szeto in August 2010, alleging they engaged in “clandestine and systematic theft and infringement” of Brocade’s application delivery technology.
