Investools Sales Reps Win Cond. Cert. In OT Action

Law360, New York (August 19, 2011, 1:32 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Thursday conditionally certified a class of former Investools Inc. sales representatives who claim the TD Ameritrade Holding Corp.-owned company failed to pay them overtime while they worked at a Utah call center.

U.S. District Judge Ted Stewart said the plaintiffs had shown that they were similarly impacted by Investools' failure to pay overtime and merited preliminary class designation.
