High Court Nixes Pfizer's Bid For Quick Review

Law360 (June 12, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The nation's highest court has rejected Pfizer Inc.'s request to expedite its bid for a writ of certiorari in a patent feud with Apotex Inc. over blockbuster blood pressure drug Norvasc.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday denied Pfizer's motion to expedite consideration of its petition for a writ of certiorari, which was submitted to the court on May 30, giving no reason for its decision.

Chief Justice John Roberts took no part in the consideration or decision of the motion, according to court dockets....
