Rohm & Haas, Arkema Exit Plastic Additives MDL

Law360, New York (August 22, 2011, 5:01 PM EDT) -- Indirect purchasers in a multidistrict litigation accusing Rohm & Haas Co. and Arkema Inc. of fixing prices for plastic additives dropped their suit against the companies Thursday, a month after settling with the other defendants in the case.

U.S. District Judge Legrome D. Davis signed off Thursday on a stipulated dismissal with prejudice between Rohm & Haas, Arkema and a group of indirect purchasers who had sought to represent a class of companies and individuals in the once-sprawling litigation.
