W.Va. Issues New Fracking Guidelines

Law360, New York (August 22, 2011, 7:57 PM EDT) -- The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection on Monday issued an emergency rule with temporary new permitting requirements for the drilling of horizontal gas wells used in hydraulic fracturing and new operational rules for the practice to protect water quality.
