Game Maker Can't Boot Plaintiffs In 'Would You Rather' Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (August 22, 2011, 9:42 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Monday rejected board game maker Zobmondo Entertainment LLC’s effort to nix two of the three plaintiffs in its trademark dispute over the game “Would You Rather ... ?”

U.S. District Judge Audrey B. Collins denied Zobmondo's motion for summary judgment against plaintiffs Justin Heimberg and David Gomberg, in which the company argued the men lacked standing to sue because they’d sold their trademark rights to Imagination International Corp., which then sold them off to plaintiff Spin Master Ltd.
