Commerce Partially Halts S. Korean Steel Pipe Reviews

Law360, Los Angeles (August 23, 2011, 9:12 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday announced a partial rescission of anti-dumping reviews on multiple South Korean steel companies related to circular welded nonalloy steel pipe, after two domestic steel makers rescinded their requests for review.

Wheatland Tube Co. and U.S. Steel Corp. withdrew requests for an administrative review of five South Korean steel exporters and producers July 13, according to a Federal Register notice. The anti-dumping reviews were originally launched by the International Trade Administration following requests by the companies in November 2010....
