Nebraska Book Wins Approval Of Ch. 11 Statement

Law360, New York (August 24, 2011, 5:12 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt college bookstore chain Nebraska Book Co. Inc. can put its Chapter 11 plan to a creditor vote following a Delaware bankruptcy court's approval Tuesday of its disclosure statement.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Peter J. Walsh approved the statement describing the Chapter 11 reorganization plan, which calls for turning the company over to noteholders. A confirmation hearing is scheduled for Oct. 4.
