US Wins Judgment In $40M OSHA Tech Support Bid Protest

Law360, New York (August 24, 2011, 6:01 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Wednesday issued a final judgment after ruling Friday that the U.S. Department of Labor did not violate federal rules when it awarded MicroTechnologies LLC a $39.8 million contract despite Med Trends Inc.'s substantially lower bid.

Judge Eric G. Bruggink granted motions for judgment on the administrative record filed by the DOL and MicroTechnologies, which intervened on the government's behalf in late June.
