WTC Fireproofer Counters Allegations of Negligence

Law360, New York (June 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Fiberlock Technologies Inc. has moved to dismiss an insurance company's lawsuit against it for alleged negligence related to the property damage at 7 World Trade Center on and following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Fiberlock, which installed the fireproofing system at the Office of Emergency Management command center at the WTC, filed a motion Tuesday to dismiss the amended complaint of the plaintiff, Consolidated Edison Company of New York Inc.
