Federal Settles With AISLIC In Factory Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 5:14 PM EDT) -- Federal Insurance Co. reached a settlement Thursday in its suit against American International Specialty Lines Insurance Co. and another company over costs related to the cleanup of chemical contamination at a former New Jersey razor factory.

U.S. District Judge Freda L. Wolfson dismissed the suit, leaving room for the parties to reopen the case if the settlement is not finalized within 60 days. No details about the settlement agreement were immediately available Thursday.
