Deckers, Emu Resolve Ugg Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (August 26, 2011, 3:16 PM EDT) -- Deckers Outdoor Corp. on Thursday settled its trademark infringement and unfair competition suit accusing Emu Australia Inc. of infringing its Ugg trademarks.

U.S. District Judge Josephine Staton Tucker approved a joint stipulation motion and dismissed the case with prejudice. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

“The case was resolved to the mutual satisfaction of both parties by mutual agreement,” said Robert Gerard of Friedman Stroffe & Gerard PC, who represents Emu.
