Fox News Reporter's Retaliation Suit Gets The Boot

Law360, New York (August 25, 2011, 9:44 PM EDT) -- A Washington federal judge on Thursday dismissed a discrimination suit accusing Fox News Network LLC of retaliating against an on-air reporter during contract negotiations for complaining about its employment practices, finding that she never proved any financial damage.

The suit stems from Washington-based reporter Catherine Herridge's contract negotiations with Fox beginning in 2008, after she had complained of discrimination several times.
