US Seeks 4 Years For Pipe Co. Owner Over Con Ed Bribes

Law360, New York (August 26, 2011, 8:54 PM EDT) -- Federal prosecutors on Thursday sought up to four years and nine months in prison for the co-owner of a New Jersey pipeline supplier who pled guilty to bribery in exchange for multimillion-dollar industrial pipeline contracts from a New York electric utility.

The government is requesting up to $100,000 in fines to be issued against Andrew Martingano, co-owner of American Pipe Bending & Fabrication Inc., as well as $500,000 in fines against the company.
