Volvo Unit Raided In Swedish Boat Engine Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (August 29, 2011, 12:03 PM EDT) -- Volvo AB and a Swedish boating industry group confirmed Monday that Sweden's antitrust watchdog had targeted them in a new probe into a possible cartel among marine engine parts suppliers.

The Swedish Competition Authority said Aug. 23 that it had conducted surprise inspections at the offices of several companies that supply spare parts for engines used in motor and sail boats.
