Innolux Infringed All Mondis Patent Claims: Judge

Law360, New York (August 29, 2011, 8:47 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Monday ruled that two Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. Ltd. subsidiaries infringed all computer monitor technology patent claims asserted by Mondis Technology Ltd. — even claims that a jury found were invalid.

In June, a jury determined that Innolux Corp. and Chimei Innolux Corp. had sold televisions and computer monitors that infringed seven claims from five of the 10 patents-in-suit and awarded Mondis $15 million.
