Texas Supreme Court Remands Police Compensation Suit

Law360, New York (August 30, 2011, 10:03 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Thursday remanded a compensation lawsuit against the city of Dallas, saying the city was immune from police and firefighters' monetary claims under the state's local government code, but that an amendment to the code could revive them.
