Flooring Cos. Must Arbitrate Union Dispute: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (August 30, 2011, 3:28 PM EDT) -- A group of flooring companies must arbitrate a dispute with a painters union over whether the organization established majority status under a card-check provision in their collective bargaining agreement, the Ninth Circuit ruled Monday, after the National Labor Relations Board declined to rule on whose interpretation of the CBA was correct.
