Nevada Power To Pay $60M To Reduce Emissions

Law360, New York (June 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Sierra Pacific Resources subsidiary Nevada Power Co. will pay $700,000 and add $60 million in upgrades to one generating station in order to reduce emissions and comply with the Clean Air Act, the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Wednesday.
