Judge Removes Builder's Coverage Suit To Pa.

Law360, New York (August 30, 2011, 10:23 PM EDT) -- An Ohio federal judge on Tuesday moved Slate Rock Construction Co. Ltd.'s indemnification suit against its subcontractors and their insurers to Pennsylvania after the defendants argued the contracts at issue are governed by Pennsylvania law.

U.S. District Judge Algenon L. Marbley said a venue change from the Southern District of Ohio to the Western District of Pennsylvania is warranted because the contracts between Slate Rock and its subcontractors include Pennsylvania choice of law clauses.
