Judge Orders Vitamin C Plaintiff To Cough Up Info

Law360, New York (June 14, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The federal judge overseeing the multidistrict antitrust litigation involving Chinese vitamin C makers has sided with the defendants in their quest to compel the representative plaintiff to produce documents, ruling that the material goes to the heart of what is being alleged in the case.

U.S. Magistrate Judge James Orenstein on Wednesday granted the defendant's request, ordering Animal Science Products Inc. to produce the relevant material no later than July 6, 2007, according to court documents.
