Ex-Frontier Holdings CEO Convicted Of $7.4M Fraud

Law360, New York (August 30, 2011, 9:50 PM EDT) -- A federal jury on Tuesday found a Georgia man guilty of using his company Frontier Holdings Inc. to scam investors out of $7.4 million.

Prosecutors said Jeffrey Wallace Edwards, 46, was found guilty of two counts of mail fraud, 11 counts of money laundering and 17 counts of wire fraud for using phony ties to high-level government officials to trick 31 investors into entrusting him with their money. Edwards, a Bremen, Ga., resident, served as Frontier's CEO.
