Nixing Japanese Cement Duties Will Cause Dumping: DOC

Law360, New York (August 31, 2011, 6:55 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Wednesday that lifting anti-dumping duties on gray portland cement and clinker from Japan would likely lead to a recurrence of dumping.

After conducting an expedited third sunset review of the anti-dumping duty order on Japanese gray portland cement and clinker, Commerce's International Trade Administration determined that lifting the duties would likely to lead to a continuation or recurrence of sales at less than fair value in the U.S., the agency said in a Federal Register notice.
