Ball Bearing Importers Sue US Over Dumping Duties

Law360, Wilmington (September 2, 2011, 7:08 PM EDT) -- Two importers of Japanese ball bearings sued the U.S. government Wednesday, saying the Department of Commerce has not abided a court ruling revoking anti-dumping duties on their imports.

The suits — lodged by SPB-USA LLC and AST Bearings LLC in the U.S. Court of International Trade — relate to a March U.S. International Trade Commission finding that rescinding the duties on Japanese and British ball bearings would not likely cause material injury to U.S. bearings manufacturers, which was then backed up by CIT decision in April....
